We have meetings 2 nights a week, they are all free of charge and we
welcome family and friends that support those with a mood disorder.
Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00pm at the Northside YMCA.
We meet in room 303, which is in a separate building outside the
YMCA and parallel to the north parking lot, which runs parallel to
Magee Rd. The room is glass fronted and is the only room to the
east of the pottery room. (7770 N Shannon Rd - Shannon and Magee
area).

PLEASE NOTE: No admittance 10 minutes after meeting start times.
People always ask us, "What can I expect at a meeting? How many people attend?". Well, our meetings typically range from 12 to 22 people. We start our meetings with brief introductions. The introductions center around what you need from the Group. After that, it is an open discussion addressing as many topics as we can in the time we have. Each meeting is led by a facilitator (or facilitators). Their role is to just keep the discussions on track and promote healthy discussion. All participation is voluntary and some visiting members choose to just listen their first time. It is all up to you! For a more detailed description of our support group meetings, please see the chapter's meeting guidelines. Hope to see you there!!!
Welcome to the Tucson Chapter of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance!
Our chapter meets to provide peer support for those with mood
disorders. Our meetings are free of charge and are open to anyone. We
meet every Wednesday and Sunday night! We welcome not only those with
mood disorders, but their friends and/or family as well. We offer a
safe place to get emotional support, build self-esteem and become more
educated about our disorders. Hopefully you will find the resources that
you are looking for here. If you don't see it, don't be afraid to ask
one of us!!!
