2010 Spring Picnic Enjoyed By All
On Saturday, May 15, 2010, between 11a.m. and 2p.m. some 40 persons stopped by Ramada 17 in Reid Park for the Second Annual Tucson Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) picnic. Consumers, support persons, family members and even several dogs that were a big hit were those present.
Persons from both the Sunday night and Wednesday night groups had a chance to co-mingle. The food and beverages, provided generously by an anonymous donor, were thoroughly enjoyed by all. There was everything from sub-sandwiches to brisket to chicken fingers along with cole slaw and potato salad. And desserts—there were enough to feed an army! What a day of great fellowship.
Many thanks go out to all the volunteers who set things up and took things down along with those who helped during the picnic. Everyone worked together to make this picnic happen!
