Comments: I was diagnosed as bi-polar over 10 years ago and it wasn't until recently that we found a medication that helps. But I can't afford it - sound familiar. I also suffer severe depression, anxiety disorders and panic attacks and to me the worst - dissociate episodes. I plan on trying to attend tomorrow's meeting but since I am also agoraphobic it may take a while.

Comments: I am debating going to THE UMC meeting this Sunday. I'll probably just listen the first time I go. I hope I get enough courage to go. I'm embarrassed to admit that I have depression. If someone would email and tell me what the meetings are like, I would like to hear it from someone that has this disorder. I'll get a better picture.

Comments: I hope the Tucson DBSA leadership will consider returning to the smaller support meetings we had in the fall of 2007. In a smaller group, it is easier for everyone to have a chance to speak. When the meetings are so large--more than 15 or 20 people--we cannot even make eye contact with one another.
